We're looking for a Consumer and Market Insights Manager (CMI) to join our team. This role is highly visible within the Organization working with Marketing, Sales, R&D and the opportunity to work with senior leaders across the Business. You will have a seat at the table where you can listen, make your case and affect the decisions made by Welch's for the short and long term.

Who You Are:

  • You love people and are knowledgeable on how consumers make decisions. A passionate, creative problem solver, who wants to work in an organization with a clear vision that will invest in you, develop you and want you to lead.
  • Well versed in the CMI industry to understand what is appropriate for Welch's
  • Be able to synthesize insights from disparate sources such as primary, secondary and syndicated
  • Knowledge in areas such as brand equity, positioning, segmentation and demand spaces, concept development, volumetric methods, new product development processes, creative and media evaluation, measuring success in market and how to track progress
  • Strong ability to speak to insights with passion, understanding and candor
  • Someone who can drive big picture strategic thinking and programs while also able to lead tactical execution on a day-to-day level
  • Ability to think through complex problems and solve less-than-straightforward scenarios with creativity and strategic thinking.

What You'll Do:

  • Be part of the strategic growth planning process for the organization as an advocate for the consumer
  • Provide in-depth understanding of the consumer, customer and marketplace
  • Lead and develop insights roadmap against business objectives
  • Work with partners to design, execute, analyze data and mine for insights
  • Integrate data to cross reference and build on foundational learning for insights
  • Simplify complex methods and data to get to the point with actionable recommendations
  • Identify where to spend time to move the business forward
  • You will roll up your sleeves to get the job done with speed and accuracy.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA, or higher, CMI related fields such as psychology, marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years of CMI experience
