When people think of Welch's, they think of our great tasting juice and jelly and a trusted, iconic brand. People also think we are a big company. We're not. We're a co-operative, owned by the family farmers who grow our delicious and nutritious grapes. Our work allows our farmers to maintain an agricultural way of life, send their children to college, and hand their farm down to the next generation as was done for almost 150 years. 

We're looking for a Senior Brand Manager of Innovation to join the Welch's team to lead the creation and development of new products and platforms. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and strategies to convert insights into new products.  You will be responsible for building, developing and leading the one to three year growth plans for innovation at Welch's.  In collaboration with brand leads, R&D, finance, CI, supply chain and other key core team members you will identify long-term business platforms for Welch's.  You will work with senior leadership, project teams and the broader organization to clearly communicate the strategies, platforms and goals behind these platform initiatives.

What You'll Do:

  • Know/define our target consumer and be their champion throughout the innovation process.
  • Lead the transformation of insights into actionable new product concepts.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments and external partners (Sales, R&D, Legal, Agencies, Vendors, etc.) to bring innovation concepts to life.
  • Manage the idea to execution with all core teams and leadership advisement.
  • Support small family farmers. Welch's is owned by a co-op of 905 small family farmers, many of whom are 4th and 5th generation and have farms less than 40 acres.
  • Aid in the creation of sales materials and customer presentations.

  • Well versed in fundamentals of understanding consumers and analyzing business trends .
  • Pro-active, problem solver with strong analytics and creative thinking.
  • Great collaborator with all levels of an organization knows how to read your audience.

What You'll Need:

  • BS/BA required. Business, Marketing or related field preferred. MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience developing and commercializing new products and platforms.
  • CPG industry experience strongly preferred.
