We're looking for a Co-Manufacturing Manager who will be play a key role in supporting Welch's growth and innovation activities through development and management of external SC networks. The Co-Manufacturing Manager works closely with Marketing, Sales and R&D partners and scopes co-manufacturing searches based on product, and needed SC capabilities.  The Co-Manufacturing Manager develops search scope, searches for potential partners, develops business relationships, and leads cross functional assessments and development, including contract negotiation. 

The Co-Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for managing co-manufacturers, administering agreements, managing partner performance, leading commercialization efforts and delivering cost, quality and service improvements. 

What You'll Do:

  • Identify, assess and select new co-manufacturing partners
  • Partner cross-functionally to lead commercialization efforts at new and existing co-manufacturing locations
  • Develop strategies to enhance partnership relationships with key co-manufacturers for long term benefits
  • Develop and execute productivity, quality and service enhancing projects
  • Provide day to day management of existing co-manufacturers
  • Develop and be responsible for budgets and forecasts
  • Facilitate issue resolution with co-manufacturers
  • Conduct monthly reviews/assessments of co-manufacturer performance

Who You Are:

  • Excellent leadership skills with strong business acumen
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Project managements skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams through commercialization projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills w/ ability to interact with all levels and functions of organizations on both an individual and team basis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under pressure
  • Knowledge and experience in all aspects of operations including manufacturing and/or engineering, logistics and quality

What You'll Need:

  • 5-7 years strategic Supply Chain experience
  • Direct experiencing managing Co-Mans and direct manufacturing line management preferred
  • Bachelors Degree required (preferably Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or another related field)
