We're looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team. The person in this position will provide support to the accounting department by participating in the completion of daily production and processing reports, entering and analyzing data within Oracle and Excel, and providing vacation relief/weekend coverage.
The successful candidate must possess the ability to work with minimal direct supervision. This position will be responsible for completing time sensitive work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions. Candidate must be able to interact well with others at all levels of the company, specifically plant supervisory and office / technical employees. Flexibility and a positive attitude are important.
Early start will be required and eventually will work into an untraditional work week. Must be willing to work overtime / Saturdays on an as needed basis.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the management and coordination of sweetener inventory used in production (planning, ordering, and reporting of)
- Assist with the reporting, reconciling, and completion of daily production activity
- Ensure proper BOM's for daily Oracles batches
- Gathering and summarizing prior day's activity
- System maintenance for creation of packed product
- Generate all shipments
- Maintain BOM's related to future packaging supplies
- Support other internal and external customers
- Miscellaneous inventory transactions and reporting
- Secure an in-depth knowledge of the ORACLE financial reporting system
- Investigation of and follow through on inventory issues (daily reconciliations)
- Overall trouble shooting
What You'll Need:
- BS degree in accounting preferred associates required or a related field
- 1-2 years experience in a fast paced, detail oriented work environment
- Must possess advanced skills in word processing and spreadsheets specifically with Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of Oracle a plus
