We're looking for an Associate Project Manager to lead the development and execution of all packaging graphics, including process and workflow, to ensure all projects move seamlessly and all objectives are met (timeline, budget etc.)   

This person will manage all aspects of graphics logistics including: print feasibility, cross functional approvals, pre-press, printing, digital asset management and detailed budget reporting, while ensuring executional excellence throughout the entire go-to market process.   

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for routing, tracking and reconciling all projects, including proofreading, label accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, in partnership with legal and R&D.
  • Work closely with packaging graphic agencies to negotiate and manage costs of projects. Direct management and responsibility of agency SOW deliverables and timelines. Often managing multiple complex projects at once.
  • Ensure packaging graphics obtain all necessary approvals; from brand, marketing leadership, legal and regulatory R&D. Manage the use and adherence of electronic routing and approval software.
  • Manage the execution and preparation of final production art with separators and printers; ensuring delivery on time and on budget.
  • Responsible for approvals (including accuracy and proofreading) on all final packaging graphic color proofs to ensure excellent production. Attend press runs when appropriate
  • Manage development and delivery of sales samples of new packaging items with sales sample vendor.
  • Assist with Digital Asset Management system critical for retailer integration and sales use.
  • Lead cross functional team through the implementation and continued execution of packaging best practices including developing packaging brand standards
  • Must be willing to become subject matter expert for legal and regulatory requirements on packaging formatting and requirements for ingredient statements, nutrition fact panels and claim language.

  • Ability to create and develop new processes in ever-changing environment
  • Track record in personal initiative, as well as creativity must be a team player
  • Must communicate and influence effectively across all levels of management 

What You'll Need:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5-7 years of experience; 2-3 years must be in a project management focused marketing role
  • Must have design and printing experience
  • CPG industry experience and PMP certification preferred
