We're looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our team to Provide Maintenance Planning, technical problem-solving and engineering support to ensure efficient execution of Maintenance services for all Production, Processing and support equipment. The successful candidate completes identified Capital Projects, Continuous Improvement projects, and has indirect Supervisory responsibilities for hourly Mechanics.


What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for planning maintenance of production and processing equipment, refrigeration, boiler room, waste plant, building maintenance, and seasonal equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Maintains consistent communication with maintenance, production and processing supervision to obtain maximum machine uptime.
  • Participates as a Core member of a Packaging Operations Business Unit, responsible for solving problems and driving results in that Unit and in identified support areas.
  • Provides input to the training program for all mechanics.
  • Provide on-going maintenance activity plans that ensure the reliability of plant infrastructure, including but not limited to:
    • Preventative maintenance programs.
    • Predictive maintenance programs.
    • Safety and regulatory needs


Who You Are:

  • Demonstrated ability to safely work on and around complex, highly automated machinery in a non-temperature regulated environment.
  • Strong maintenance planning skills, including proficiency in CMMS.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present information to other maintenance supervisors, technicians, and operators
  • Cross-functional understanding of systems involving Electrical, PLC, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Motors, motion control, and mechanical devices.
  • Experience in food manufacturing desired. Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a proactive manner and working independently.What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor degree in an Engineering discipline. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum one to three years of related, applicable experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Solid record of safety and continuous improvement in an industrial setting.
  • Lean/Continuous Improvement experience and demonstrated usage preferred.What You'll Enjoy:
