We're looking for an Associate Director, Finance to join our team to provide strategic business partnership, financial insight and analysis to the Corporate Operations and Manufacturing teams. 

What You'll Do:

  • Provide strategic business partnership and associated forecasting, reporting and analysis of all key operating measurements to the functional leaders within the supply chain (Plant and seasonal operations, strategic sourcing, capital and cost savings projects, transportation, warehousing and co-manufacturing) to assist them in making good business decisions, balancing short and long term objectives of growth, profitability and crop utilization.
  • Direct the development of the long range plan and annual profit plan process for the assigned groups, analyzing risks and opportunities and challenging assumptions as appropriate.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain functions to understand current year performance drivers and influence adjustments to meet forecast commitments, governance requirements and internal controls for 4 manufacturing plants, materials, distribution, standard cost and inventory valuation.
  • Execute productivity initiatives and identify next generation cost actions
  • Provide financial leadership and oversight to both staff as well as cross-functional partners to ensure timely and accurate forecasting and adherence to financial reporting requirements.

  • An experienced business partner who can translate financial data into financial insight, and who uses financial acumen to anticipate trends
  • A passionate leader who loves to assess/re-engineer existing processes and drive improvements through influencing others with strong financial knowledge in the areas of cost, inventory, operations, and budgeting
  • A business thinker with solid technical financial skills as well as strong operational analysis skills
  • A proven leader who can build relationships and develop a high performance team

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA desired
  • 8-10 years of finance experience with a proven career track record, including Plant controller experience
  • Excellent MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) skills
  • Experience with database applications is a plus (Oracle, Hyperion)
  • Ability to travel 30-40%
