Purple lovers rejoice! Welch's has an exciting opportunity for marketing students, MBA candidates or post graduates looking for a uniquely rewarding co-op experience.  Welch's has gone through an exciting brand repositioning and the opportunity to join the company during this exciting transition time brings lots of opportunity. The Co-op would get to see how our new marketing campaign is brought to life from the concept or "idea" through to commercialization. You'll be an integral part of the team contributing to the strategy and execution of exciting new work. We are looking for a media co-op to join our A-team excited to contribute immediately and hit the ground running. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Social Community Management
    • Execute daily engagement with consumers on social media channels ensuring brand lighthouse voice is incorporated
    • Own posting of all organic social across social media channels
    • Partner with H3I on social channel customer service issues
    • Work with manager to consult on creative for brand team using social media channel best practices and digital expertise to guide feedback
    • Develop comprehensive editorial calendar for social media channels and facilitate share-out of calendar with the brand and cross functional business teams
    • Test new and continually optimize posting strategies on social media channels
  • Develop and Manage a Welch's Sparkling Influencer Program
    • Develop FY19 program strategy, key tactics, promotion and optimization throughout the year to ensure we are leveraging bloggers to meet brand objectives
    • Organize with key stakeholders including influencer networks and brand team to bring to life an influencer program that reinforces the larger brand platform and successfully produces content for the Sparkling social channels
    • Effectively produce, execute and oversee all influencer briefing for programs or ad hoc assignments
  • Develop and Manage an email strategy
    • Develop FY19 email strategy, key tactics, promotion and optimization throughout the year to ensure we are leveraging our customer lists
    • Organize with key stakeholders including influencer networks and brand team to bring to life an email program that reinforces the larger brand platform and successfully utilizes content
    • Effectively produce, execute and oversee all email creation
  • Analytics
    • Facilitate monthly content audits with media agency to gauge performance of social media campaigns
    • Facilitate monthly email reports, track and measure success of emails to continually optimize content and open rates

Requirements/Skills Needed of Student:

  • Must be working towards a degree in business, marketing, communications, etc.
  • We're looking for creative minds with an eye for design
  • We're looking for someone who is equally as analytical with an attention to detail as there are creative
  • Must demonstrate initiative and project ownership
  • Must have impeccable time management skills and ability to multi-task in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be computer proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, (Photoshop plus)
  • Car required
