We're looking for a Finance Associate (Accounts Payable) to join our team to be a key contributor to the weekly payment process and manage a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment.  This role is also a technical lead for our AP Automation system, ensuring workflows run properly and issues are flagged and addressed.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop strong working relationships with various departments within the corporate and manufacturing teams, as well as vendors, to research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
  • Verify invoices are properly captured in AP Automation system prior to importing into ERP system (Oracle)
  • Process multiple types of invoices accurately and within payment terms taking full advantage of all discounts available
  • Post weekly AP disbursements such as paper checks, EFT and wire payments
  • Account reconciliations, statement reconciliations, and invoice accruals
  • Research and prepare the issuance of 1099's
  • Ensure all transactions are compliant with company policies and procedures, including providing training where appropriate

What You'll Need:

  • 2-4 years of Accounts Payable experience in a high volume environment, including account reconciliations
  • Inventory and manufacturing experience extremely helpful
  • A working knowledge of Oracle is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and general computer skills
